Visit to SSPCA
On the 22-23rd of January, Leo Club of SMK Green Road had a donation drive for SSPCA. The aim of this project is to increase awareness towards animal abuse. We raised an amount of RM608.70, and we used all the money to buy rice for those animals. Some of the leos donated some newspapers and boxes too. And on the 26th January which is last saturday, we visited SSPCA. This project was organized by Leo Amanda Tan which is very successful project. We did a lot of activities there such as cleaning and feeding the dogs and cats. It was great to know that all of the Leos are willing to help. Not only this project, but other projects too! :) WE SERVE, WE CARE! ROAR :)
Welcoming YE Taiwan Dinner
The dinner was held at It Hng Teochew restaurant. 16 leos from Leo Club of SMK Green Road attended the dinner. There were 8 Taiwan YE's that came to kuching. We did a lot of activities such as games, dancing, singing,etc during that dinner.

Visit to Boys Home
On the 19th of December, 10 Leos from Leo Club of SMK Green Road had participated in the Chinese New Year Visit with other Leo Clubs to Boys home. This project was a joint project with Leo Club Of Sg Tapang and Leo Club Of Stampin Gapor DPHA. Many activities were carried on that day such decorating the boys home and having lunch with them. The aim of visit to the boys home is to bring joy, happiness and love for the children. Lunch and fruits such as apple and oranges were sponsored by some Leos and Lions. WE SERVE, WE CARE!

Christmas visit to Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS)
On the 24th of December, Leo Club of SMK Green Road had participated in the Christmas Visit with other Leo Clubs to Sarawak Children Cancer Society (SCCS) and 6 Leos had attended this visit. Many activities were carried on that day such as caroling session and games session. The aim of visit to SCCS is to bring joy, happiness and love for the children. Cookies and cup cakes were made by Leos and were brought to there for the children. Presents were given out to every children there as a Christmas present. RM 100 from our Club was donated to SCCS as a finacial support.

Lion Nursing Home Charity Sale
Lions Nursing Home Sale which was held on the 4 December 2011, Leos from Leo Club of SMK Green Road were there to help the Lions & Leos in raising fund for Lions Nursing Home Sale 2011. Our stall managed to raise RM 1300.00 (estimated amount) after adding up with the Leo Club of Chung Hua Middle School No.1.
Leo Club of SMK Green Road sold out various kind of food & beverages such as cakes, "luo han guo" drink, jelly and cheesecake.

Third Project
Project : Visit to the poors/ handicapped
A project which was carried with Meeting Needs Kuching on September 24, Sunday.
We visited 5 houses and we've sponsored them with food parcels such as milo, washing detergents, toothpaste, toothbrush, biscuits, instant noodles and can foods (as requested).
15 Leos from Leo Club of SMK Green Road joined this project and it was succesfully carried out.
We planned to visit 6 houses but we didn't managed to do so as we need to rush to waterfront for another Lions Project, walk with the blinds. 15 Leos were blind folded and walked along the Waterfront footpath.
The aim of this project is to fund raised for the blinds to go for surgeries.

Second Project
Region 1: Getting To Know You
Region 1 : Getting to know you fellowship night was held by Region Chairperson, Lion Peter Ong. 3 key officers from each Leo and Lions Club in Region 1 was invited to the dinner. Lion Mike was the Emcee of the night. He brought us great laughters.

First Project
Cheshire Home Charity Sales
The charity sales were held on the 3rd of July, 2011.
We managed to raised RM 500++ for Cheshire Home, Kuching.
Five members helped out during the sales.
We sold oranges, root beer, sunquick pudings and fried bee hoon.
